I am an Associate Professional Counselor with experience as a mental health provider in various clinical settings. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, identity development, relationship issues, and life transitions. My experiences as a 1st-generation Jamaican-American woman influence me to prioritize a multicultural counseling approach. My warm demeanor creates a safe space for my clients to feel comfortable.
I hold an M.S. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a B.A. in Sociology. I use several treatment approaches including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and person-centered therapy.
