I am Janae Reyes, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 23 years of experience in the field of Public Child Welfare, focusing on trauma and mental health. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples as they process their unique experiences and work toward living more fulfilled lives. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and major life transitions.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Whittier College and my Master's degree in Social Work at California State University-Los Angeles. Throughout my career, I have focused on working with children and families in areas such as child abuse, trauma, adoption issues, mental illness, addiction, and intimate partner violence.
Individual life experiences shape the way we navigate relationships, heal from trauma, develop our voice, and move forward during times of transition. My role as a clinician is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you feel heard, can process your trauma, and gain insight through understanding.
