Jana Svoboda
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, ACSW
My practice is closed to new clients at this time. It's a difficult time right now, and I encourage you to practice the best possible self-care, including socially distancing, masking and being kind to yourself and others. As most therapists are practicing only on-line, you aren't limited to local options. Consider searching throughout Oregon for a good fit. --Jana
For my short term clients, I rely on Strength Based Problem Solving, Brief and Narrative approaches and a coaching style to help you reach your goals quickly. Systems, Family of Origin, Philosophical and Jungian theories are an integrated part of my theory base for understanding and changing chronic negative patterns.
In addition to my private practice, I enjoy teaching and presenting to professional and private groups. Available workshops include nurturing creativity and joy, problem solving, identifying and accessing personal strengths, caring for caregivers, integrating the shadow, and finding meaning at midlife. E for details.
