Whether past or present, we have all faced difficulties or storms in our lives that seem bigger than we can handle alone. It takes a great deal of courage to ask for help, to begin a journey of healing whether your storm has passed and you are left with the aftermath or the storm is presently raging. These storms take on many names: depression, anxiety, stress, impulsivity, mood swings, anger, codependency, relationship difficulties, parenting/co-parenting/single parenting struggles, identity issues, life transitions, divorce, grief/loss, technology/social media overload, addiction/substance use. They affect people of all ages.
Through compassionate listening and a variety of clinical interventions, I can journey with you and help you to weather your storms, no matter how fierce they may seem in the moment. As we are physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual beings, I utilize an eclectic and holistic approach to counseling.
Counseling is a journey we embark on together. My job is to help you set attainable goals and then help you move from where you are to where you want to be. My job is not to fix you but to help you find the courage to heal and empower you to see your own role in your healing process so that you can continue to heal long after my leg in your journey is done.
