There are innumerable reasons people seek out therapy whether you're navigating major life transitions, unable to change or understand the patterns that hinder you from a fulfilled life, simply trying to understand why you do what you do, decrease destructive choices and behaviors, feeling alienated in a chaotic world or address/manage symptoms of an existing mental health diagnosis (the list goes on). I strive to offer a safe space to explore these themes.
I am a warm, insightful individual able to make what seems like an intimidating process comfortable and disarming. My primary focus is on the therapeutic alliance or trusted relationship as that is the platform from which any vulnerable, real self work emerges. From there, I use a variety of approaches depending on the unique needs of the individual.
I can assure you that I am not just looking to fill slots, I also am interested in working with the right fit. With that said, I make an effort to consistently check in that the connection is working and if it’s not, I promise to either change treatment approach or even offer to help find a better fit as I want this experience to be meaningful and effective
