My practice focuses on those who are seeking, through a spiritual path -- healing, accountability, recovery, wholeness and balance. I have 25+ years of experience as a priest who has provided counsel and guidance to families, couples, individuals, adolescents, and children who have struggling with any variety of life issues. I have clinical training in Mental Health associated with substance abuse, PTSD, depression, grief, loss, and anxiety. I maintain a small practice with The Center for Relationships. This permits me to address each client's situation more fully and attentively.
During Mental Health clinical training at the Lexington VA hospital, I provided pastoral care to veterans and their families. My training and practice is focused on working with those who suffer with addiction disorders and with PTSD using spiritually modified Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Jungian-oriented treatment and other therapeutic modalities.
My clinical work and training at The Haden institute includes four years of Jungian based study and practice with Dream Work and Spiritual Direction which incorporates various therapeutic modalities such as use of the labyrinth, Sand Tray, Animal Assisted Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to promote healthy change and life choices.
