Are you struggling with how childhood experiences, losses or trauma continues to influence your life? Are you discouraged at repeating difficult situations or find it hard to get out from under depression or anxiety? I'm glad to see how we can put our minds together to understand your dilemmas and see things differently. Change is possible no matter what your age or your life circumstances when you feel seen, accepted and appreciated for who you are and where you've been.
I have extensive experience treating distress arising from different kinds of disappointments and losses including various traumas and relational problems. I'm also an experienced couples therapist. For clinicians I provide psychoanalytic consultation as well as monthly clinical narrative writing groups.
I specialize in long term psychoanalytic psychotherapy and value empathy, understanding, and reflection in healing previously unmet relational needs. My decades of clinical experience, extended training, and warmth means I offer patience and acceptance of you in a reliable and ongoing way over time to help your accept and love yourself.
