I am a licensed mental health counselor and national certified counselor trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and unresolved or traumatic experiences, to support emotional regulation, insight, and lasting change in a collaborative, supportive way. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based care. I have a down-to-earth approach to therapy that blends insight with practical tools by merging cognitive behavioral therapy with psychodynamic psychotherapy. EMDR can also be especially helpful for processing experiences that continue to affect you emotionally, even if they happened long ago.
I also provide specialized support for those affected by breast cancer, including patients, survivors, and caregivers. Breast cancer can bring emotional disruption, identity shifts, and lingering fear. Therapy offers a steady, compassionate space to process these experiences, regain a sense of stability, and move forward with greater emotional resilience.
