When my clients start therapy with me they often feel confused, exhausted and have difficulty making changes due to years of living in survival mode due to trauma. Sometimes, they even feel shame about who they are and the choices they are making. When they end therapy with me they feel more clear about their needs, desires and how to get both met. In therapy you can create a future that centers your assets and strengths to build a future that honors your desires and values.

Choosing to invest in yourself, your family, and your community needs and recover an authentic and valued approach to life requires hard work and commitment. I am grateful and honored to be considered a participant in this work.
The work of therapy is to recover the unique strengths inherent in you and to restore curiosity and freedom of choice. Our humanity can be covered up by hurt and painful life experiences, which is further complicated by coping for immediate relief instead of long-term vitality.
