I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist. I focus on developing self-compassion through a client-centered approach. You are the expert in your life and I'm here to support you through a part of your healing journey. I work with young adults and adults who want to learn from depression, anxiety, codependency, or other circumstances. I believe that our emotions and diagnosis are trying to teach us something if we are willing to turn towards them with compassion and curiosity instead of fighting them.
I focus on strengthening self-compassion, mindfulness, and appropriate boundaries through modalities like art therapy, somatic therapies, Internal Family Systems, healing codependency, and a curious mindset. You don't have to have it all figured out, therapy is a place to learn and discover and heal.
I enjoy working with clients that want to grow, and be curious about old patterns that no longer serve them. Clients that are willing to do the work and practice patience. I won't pretend to know everything, we can learn and be curious together.
