Life can be messy and sometimes it’s hard to navigate on our own. Some days you may feel like you’re on the right track, only to feel like you’ve been derailed and back at square one, just a few days later. We experience emotions on a spectrum. I’m here to tell you that your feelings are valid and that it’s okay not to feel okay. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where we can explore your strengths, values and your vulnerabilities. I want therapy to be a place where you feel heard and understood, and at the same time encouraged and challenged to explore patterns of thinking or behaviors that are no longer serving you.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help those with difficulties regulating their emotions, exploring their identity, navigating interpersonal relationships, and building self-esteem. Additionally, I have expertise in depression, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorder, + schizophrenia spectrum.
To me, therapy is a unique and personalized collaboration. My hope is that with time, trust and understanding, we can form a strong therapeutic alliance to help you reach your goals and improve the quality of your life. If any of this resonates with you, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I hope to hear from you!
