I have completed phase 1 of brain spotting and continue to work towards brain spotting certification. It uses areas in a person's line of sight to help process trauma and other issues through accessing the subcortical part of our brains. Along with aspects of Cognitive Behavioral therapy, I aim to help children, adults, and couples through the trauma towards a different tomorrow. If you are reading this, I wish and hope for the best for you moving forwards. the motto I approach from is that we are looking for progress, not perfection.
I look at the client as the author of their story. from a perspective of brain spotting, CBT and strength based, we take the journey through the triggers to the events. I strive to help present information that is structured to the individual in a way that helps them best in processing.
Often, we feel like a ship lost on a storming night at sea. we feel lost, hopeless and unable to get through the rough waters. therapy is a light house off in the distance that helps guide us through the choppy waters to the shore
