Hi, my name is Jamie Morales. I am a licensed clinical social worker and feel strongly about mental health and well-being. I use a client-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based therapy, among other modalities and interventions. My focus areas of practice are anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as grief counseling and stress management. The most common therapeutic approaches I use in my practice are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, compassion-based therapy, and trauma-informed care.
I typically work with clients to help reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also work with clients through grief counseling, prolonged grief, and traumatic grief. I enjoy working with all age groups and genders.
My communication style is calm, welcoming, and supportive. I create a safe space for clients to feel comfortable and invite all emotions and thoughts to be expressed. Pets joining in on sessions for emotional support are welcomed.
