Jamie is a candidate for licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) and practices at Counseling Associates’ Upper Valley and New London offices. Her therapeutic approach integrates a wide range of modalities, including HeartMath, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), art and play based approaches, nature-based therapy, strengths-based approaches, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). This integrative style allows her to provide a personalized and holistic path to well-being for each client.
Jamie is a certified Somatic Stress Release Practitioner, a trauma-informed 500-hour Registered Polyvagal Applied Yoga Teacher, and a HeartMath Certified Practitioner. She is also currently training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), a dyadic, trauma-informed model that supports young children and their caregivers.
