Life is very much like driving a car. We can't only focus on the destination, and we can't stare into the rearview mirror. Either of these actions would cause an accident, and most certainly distract us from our main goal - keeping our eyes on the road! In my practice, I take on the GPS role. The driver and the GPS are a team. The relationship between the client and the therapist is powerful one, involving trust and collaboration. I provide parent coaching and have also worked in school settings for almost a decade. I also enjoy supervising other therapists to help them do their best work.
I specialize in treating anxiety and personality disorders, depression, trauma, parent coaching, and relationship issues. My therapeutic approach combines empathy, evidence-based techniques, and a collaborative spirit to empower clients on their journey to healing. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings.
My style is one of warmth and support, while challenging you to reach your individual needs and goals. I am non-judgmental and use humor often.
