About
I help people living with depression, self-identity struggles, grief, complex trauma and have experience working within LGBTQIA+ and ethical non-monogamous communities. My role as a therapist is to offer authentic and genuine reflections and to help strengthen your mental capacity and confidence to handle the internal and external stressors that you have been facing every day. I believe we all have a story to tell, some intertwined with tragedy and challenges, and that our time together is for you to tell yours. I want to sit beside you, listen, and hopefully offer you clarity and relief.
I use play therapy with children and expressive therapy with teens and adults. I draw on interpersonal neurobiology to explore connections between emotions and human development and incorporate sensory experiences such as sandtray and art into sessions. I offer "walk-and-talk" (outdoor therapy) because of the relationship between mental health and nature.
Our minds are incredibly complex and are experts at hiding and misdirection. I believe there is no time-limit for grief, sadness, or fear and that we each have our own perceptions of reality based on our experiences and observations. People are always in the process of rediscovering themselves, and my hope is to help you during any part of your journey.
