I believe that everybody has the ability to make changes to their life. I specialize in working with people who struggle with chronic illness as well as anxiety and trauma. I find when struggling with something like chronic illness there is often an impact on ones mental health. It may impact relationships, work, self-esteem, body-image, and much more. You may need support in how to address issues with your medical team or how to ask for support from loved ones. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have had your illness for years i find navigating all that it entails can be challenging. I am here to support you in that journey.
I have a rich background in working with people with chronic illness as well as trauma and anxiety. Through personal and professional experience i know that navigating the mental health side of chronic illness can be difficult. I understand the many sides of life trauma or chronic illness can impact.
I believe everyone has the power to take back control of their lives. With psychotherapy, I will use both holistic and evidence-based approaches to help you make meaning of life events, teach coping skills, and further explore the mind-body connection through an empathic, non-judgmental and safe space.
