I am committed to creating an atmosphere of safety, trust, and inclusion. My practice has included working with those who have been exposed to extreme traumas, unexpected grief, various personality disorders, and navigating symptoms of anxiety and depression. I take an affirming stance when working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Driven by social justice and a belief in individual strength and resiliency, I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.
I believe there is not a singular approach that can be applied to every person. I often implement tools from CBT and elements of Somatic Experiencing, however, the therapeutic experience should be tailored to each individual, so I utilize an array of evidence-based tools and encourage feedback to support your journey toward healing.
