Therapy is not like what is portrayed on tv. I am not going to nod and scribble on a note pad while you lie on a couch. Every session with each client is different depending on what is going on in their lives at the time. I have a small caseload as I am pursing my PH.D which means I will have more time and skills for you. I have worked extensively with substance use disorders, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I am EMDR certified and am able to provide this service if it is right for you. I have worked with adolescents and adults from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
It is important to connect with your therapist as without that connection therapy is not effective. I encourage you to reach out to me to see if we are a good fit.
