Jamie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in a variety of settings and populations. In individual counseling, Jamie has assisted clients to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorder. He has provided mental health services to youth in many contexts including schools, homes, residential facilities, and outpatient environments, and has helped many couples and families find improved communication, cooperation, and closeness.
In sessions, Jamie creates an open, supportive space for self-expression. There is no right or wrong way to “be” in counseling; clients' presence is simply valued and appreciated.
Jamie received his MA in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and his M.Ed. in Counseling through the Marriage and Family Program at William and Mary School of Education. He is currently accepting new clients for individual, couples, and family counseling.
