Therapy with Jamie Franklin is a sacred space. A space where your comfort and vulnerability are prioritized to achieve maximum safety to explore thoughts, feelings, actions, and patterns. I enjoy witnessing the enlightenment process as well as cheering on clients as they reach their full potential. I work from a posture of genuine curiosity to assist clients achieve their desired change.
I typically work with women and youth challenged by early emotional injuries, complex trauma and SUD. I use techniques from motivational interviewing, CBT, narrative therapy and solution focused therapy to empower clients to make desired changes.
My communication style is inviting and curious. I practice from a space of unconditional positive regard. During the first session client's can expect a warm history collecting session and exploration of the presenting problem.
