Do you feel like you are constantly at war with your body? Whether you are struggling with accepting its size/shape, traumas you have experienced, lack of motivation to care for yourself, your experience of gender, chronic illness, or discrimination based on your body, I am here to offer one path to make peace with and feel at home in your body. I work from a multicultural feminist and interpersonal process lens. This means two things: (1) I will collaborate with and empower you to find what’s true for you in a beautifully diverse and confusing world and (2) we will build a warm & genuine relationship as the container for healing.
I am a Body Trust Provider in training and am the owner of Wild Fig Psychotherapy. I have helped clients navigate healing from toxic relationships, sexual trauma, and relationship violence for the past 9 years - first as an advocate and then a therapist. I also have experience working with mood & anxiety disorders, LGBTQIA+ concerns, masculinity, and dating.
