Hi, my name is Jamie Clark and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in Washington and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Idaho. Whether you need short-term or long-term services, while understanding that we all struggle at times, I am here to walk alongside you as you navigate feeling better, mentally. As an eclectic Therapist, I utilize a variety of theoretical approaches and modalities, including CBT, CPT, Person-Centered, and DBT.
Although I work with clients who struggle with various levels of mental health concerns, I am professionally trained in Trauma therapy. Although a daunting task, I enjoy helping my clients walk through and process past or current trauma. My communication style is empathetic but will gently push you toward positive change.
Growing up I always wanted to help people "feel better"; I was our apartment's kid counselor lol. As I got older and worked to overcome my own struggles, with the help of Counselors, I knew this was what I wanted to do.
