Hi, my name is Jamey (she/her). I specialize in trauma therapy, helping people work through relationship harm, grief, and life's stressors. My approach is both creative and relational, meaning we will collaboratively foster a safe space for your healing. I have experience supporting older children, teens, and adults of all ages. I am an anti-oppressive and nonjudgemental therapist, therefore, I value your upbringing, cultural and racial identities, immigration journey, sexual orientation, and gender.
I use different therapeutic approaches depending upon your needs. For adults, I primarily use Narrative Therapy and Relational Therapy to help you reconnect with yourself and others. For children, I largely use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy to build self-esteem and self-regulation skills.
Ultimately, I want therapy to be guided by you, empowering you to feel more connected and hopeful. Whatever brings you to this space, you can trust that I’ll offer a gentle, supportive environment where your story will be heard and valued. I look forward to working with you!
