About
Many of my clients are in recovery from an eating disorder or are struggling to manage anxiety or mood issues that are disturbing the balance in their life. Others are looking to quiet their inner critic and feel more confident within their core self. I’m very passionate about helping people un-do years of internalized messaging about their body, their capabilities, and their healing capacity. Helping people find an individualized treatment approach to work through eating disorders, past trauma, or anxiety is a passion and a specialty of mine. .
I offer a compassion-focused practice grounded in empirically supported techniques. I am a Diplomate of the the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and I am a community advocate for eating disorder recovery . Within a Cognitive-Behavioral framework, I also incorporate DBT, ACT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness and Somatic Psychotherapy.
