About
It is my belief that seeking help is a courageous step that should be commended. Therapy offers us an opportunity to get to know ourselves, and provides a safe and comfortable space to think about the ways we can make our lives better. In this space, we come to understand the deeper meanings of the problems we face, gain the emotional tools to solve these problems, and become more confident in the decisions we make. Therapy can help to slow life down, and helps us find a place in it that fits who we are.
I specialize in a wide variety of issues, such as anxiety and depression, identity issues, and problematic relationships. While my training is primarily in psycho-dynamic therapy, I try to be flexible in my approach in order to help people feel comfortable, as no two individuals are the same.
I work with adults and children in individual, couples and group therapy. Practicing in these diverse ways allows people the opportunity to choose which mode of therapy best suits their own situation. If you have any questions about how therapy might help in your situation, please reach out to me.
