I want to extend a non-judgmental approach to every person I work with. I have been working with adults and adolescents for years and feel confident that I can work with a multitude of personality types. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand some of the difficulties we face when seeking counseling services. I want to extend myself to everyone identifying under this umbrella. I am experienced working with active duty military who have experienced trauma, either prior to or during their service. I am currently providing services for Restoring Hope Alliance, which is a local non-profit program.
I pride myself with offering compassionate care with a competent approach. I have taken the opportunity to attend education and training focused on working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I am also trained in several evidenced-based modalities which focus on trauma and trauma related symptoms. I have clinical training in CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, DBT, IFS, and EMDR.
