I work toward helping clients feel emotionally safe in therapy. It is very important that people feel validated, understood, accepted, and not judged for having their difficulties. I have been in private practice for over 35 years. I work with a wide variety of people, including individuals and couples. I have particular interests in helping people with depression (including Bipolar Disorder), anxiety (i.e.,panic, generalized & social anxiety, PTSD, OCD, etc), relationship difficulties, and addictions. I am a provider for numerous managed care companies, and have been on medical staffs of various hospitals for many years.

I work toward staying current with research in mental health and scientifically, empirically based treatments. I specialize in mindfulness-based therapies, particularly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The therapy is very effective in helping people with a wide variety of difficulties, and provides tools for living a full and meaningful life.

I am in independent private practice, so I will be the only person that you will interact with. I am not operating from an office anymore, but only doing tele therapy sessions via a secure internet site. I am a licensed Psychologist in both Colorado and Florida. In Colorado, i am a network provider for most insurance companies, but not in Florida.
