My experience is primarily in crisis work focusing on a wide variety of concerns, often related to trauma, stress, financial instability, and relationship conflict. I have worked with clients of all ages, from 5 years old to 80+ both out in the community and within the therapy office. I am passionate about working with eating and body image concerns, OCD and related anxiety disorders, and borderline personality disorder. When working with me I foster a collaborative environment in which I tailor my approach to your needs and assist you with finding what works.
I work from an ACT and DBT framework to encourage my clients to think flexibly and respond effectively to life stressors. Together, we will practice skills to interrupt harmful patterns of behavior and create a life worth living.
Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and my aim is to create a compassionate environment where you are empowered to embrace change at your own pace. It takes courage to seek support, and I am happy to accompany you in your healing journey.
