About
My primary client base consists of adolescents, young adults, families, and parents. I do not work directly with younger children. I find this work is best done as either parent-child work or parent support and training. For teens and young adults, I focus primarily on working with clients to identify strategies to manage the life events that they identify as interfering with important aspects of daily life. I use a strength and goal-based cognitive-behavioral framework to help develop concrete skills while providing a supportive and collaborative relationship with clients and families.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst providing services in the community for the past 20 years. Over the years I have provided outpatient and crisis services, supervised numerous other therapists, and provided consultation to schools and families.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are looking for support. I am happy to help individuals find the best fit.
