I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with individuals, families and couples from adolescents to adults. Within the first couple of sessions we will define the underlying issues and you will be in charge of choosing what you want to change and when you want to change it.
I am EMDR trained and my experience includes treating patients in private practice and in mental health hospitals. I have worked for over 20 years treating trauma issues, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Sexual Abuse, and Eating Disorders. I also work with families and couples on relationship issues.
Through self assessment, clients become aware of the direction of their own therapy and set their own goals for change. As the therapist, I am directive in supporting their choices.
