I work with adult males either in-person or virtual. I am located in Asheville, NC. I particularly like helping dads navigate fatherhood. We can work on a variety of issues including relationship concerns, home life, gaining independence, loss, finding friends, and how to have a healthy balance in life. Through mindfulness and other tools I can help you find balance with family, work, and letting go of the things in your past that don't serve you. Finding space and maintaining energy apart from the family unit without guilt while fostering positive masculinity is necessary to be more present with the self as well as partners & kids.

All individuals are essentially good and possess the inborn tendency towards growth and personal fulfillment of potential. Through a counseling relationship built on empathy, genuineness and teamwork, people tend to learn how to become self-aware and accepting of themselves. I use a wide variety of counseling interventions to help clients come up solutions.

There are two different systems at play: the brain and the body. The brain's job is to seek out problems to anticipate the worst-case scenario. The body's job is to react to what the brain is telling it to do. This threat response is useful in small doses, but in our work together, we will learn to reverse the process: using the body to show the brain that there's no harm in the present moment.
