I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (SW21780) in Florida. I help individuals who are struggling with barriers that are impeding their ability to accomplish their goals. If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, guilt, anger, sadness/depression, grief, or procrastination I can help you overcome these issues so that your future is successful! There is no specific treatment model that works for every client. That is why I like to incorporate different modalities throughout our sessions. I respect the client's time and do not want to waste their energy.
Most of the time utilized in therapy will feel more like a conversation rather than treatment itself. While working in therapy, the client will feel comfortable, and accepted, not judged, and is always listened to. The client will feel like they are having a normal conversation with someone who knows them and understands their desire for a brighter future.
As a child advocate working in the school system as a Social Worker, I began to see the limited mental health resources that were available to others. I believed that by making the change and entering the private practice arena I could provide assistance to those who were mentally struggling with their mental health and help accomplish their goals in life.
