Through therapy with me, you can expect a transformative and agenda-free space in which to explore, discover, grow and empower yourself. My approach to therapy is broad and inclusive. I have specific training in relationship counseling, depth (Jungian) psychology, and trauma healing. I often work with dreams, which can be extremely helpful "guides" in the therapeutic process. I also draw from somatic (body-based) and cognitive behavioral techniques. However, far more important than any particular modality or technique is what arises in the present moment interaction between you and me.
I meet you where you are and listen deeply to your narrative, needs and desires. We collaboratively craft an intention for our work together, including what modalities may be most appropriate and helpful. Throughout our work, I strive to hold a space based in acceptance and compassion that facilitates the unfolding of your unique process.
I work with individuals as well as people in relationships. My relationship work is grounded largely in attachment theory and nonviolent communication (NVC). I also practice a unique form of energy work and am an astrologer. If desired, we can incorporate the perspectives of these disciplines into our work as well. I look forward to hearing from you!
