My name is James Hunter. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor LPC, and I also am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor LCDC. I am licensed to provide psychotherapy. People who are dealing with: suffered trauma in their lives, toxic relationships, codependency, anxiety, depression, apathy, lack of motivation, substance abuse/addiction, insecurity and adjustment to life issues I understand, and I see you. I am ready to help you! Insight versus Awareness! - Solution Focused! - When you come to me, I will help you with gaining insight into your issues along with honest, real, and logical solutions and interventions.
During our first session, I will use part of the session, typically the first part, to ask you some standard questions that are part of my methodology that I use to get a bigger picture perspective of you and your life and more information that will be helpful with having more context with helping you working towards developing more insight.
Obviously, we are going to address your concerns too in our first session so I appreciate your patience with the first part of the session where I need to ask some questions that will be useful and essential.
