About
My priority is to create a safe and respectful atmosphere, conducive to fostering your healing and self expression. I am EMDR certified, a treatment which is life changing in its ability to shift stressful or traumatic experiences from a place of pain to one of growth. In addition, I draw on Humanistic, CBT and Internal Family Systems approaches. My values are gender-affirming, sex/body positive, and lgbtqia+ friendly. As someone who has greatly benefited from amazing therapists, I believe in the healing power of this process.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in music as a songwriter. Both fields are highly creative and value communication as well as connection. I take a conversational approach to treatment, ever being mindful of what a distinct privilege it is to be allowed into your inner life.
