I believe that people are made to flourish in healthy relationships. We experience the most pain and difficulties in these relationships and often shut off our hearts to try and survive. Addiction, trauma, anxiety, grief, and a host of other troubles may set our lives back and in a downward spiral. I love to work with Christians who want to recover the life God has called them to. I use a person-centered approach to engage with people’s stories and relationships focusing on core emotions and approaches for achieving personal transformation. In counseling, we seek to reopen our hearts so that we can more fully experience the life we are called to. It is within the context of a safe therapeutic relationship that people begin to unravel their lives, heal, and transform. I use a person-centered approach to engage with people’s stories and relationships focusing on core emotions and self-efficacy.
I work with folks 16 and up who are seeking help for their grief, anxiety, addiction, depression, and emotional and relational struggles. I also work with those who are seeking to integrate God deeper into their life story. For clients who desire it, I love to bring in Scripture and prayer as a part of their healing journey.
