Sometimes we get to places in life where we get stuck. Maybe it’s an issue at the job or at home. Perhaps you’ve been dealing with feelings of depression, anxiety, or overwhelming anger. It is my goal to help you sort out how to deal with your challenges and support you develop into a better you. I also know that I am an African American cisgender male, and I want to use my presence in the therapy field to help increase the comfort level for males and minorities to receive clinical services.
I have over 10 years of experience in doing clinical work and maintain cultural humility in my engagements. I have a warm and personable approach and, I have been trained in various forms of therapy. I tend to do well in building rapport so that we can work towards addressing the areas in your life that you would like to see change.
Many of the underlying feelings and thoughts that motivate behaviors can be discovered by talking through it. Therapeutic discussion can be had when there is unconditional positive regard and respect for the other person’s journey. It is my desire to build a safe space for people and to form healthy relationships with honesty and trust.
