About
"It's my desire to work with individuals, couples and families on a range of problematic concerns which includes: difficult relational issues (family, romantic, social, professional), difficult life-transitions, premarital counseling, co-parenting, anxiety, depression, impulsivity, grief and loss; trauma, self-harm, disempowered individuals and gender/sexuality identity - LGBTQ issues. I strongly believe in creating and maintaining a safe, warm atmosphere to help all clients express themselves adequately.
I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary treatment plan to help my clients achieve short and long term goals. A smart board is used to support visual learners and others with cognitive challenges better understand various perspectives discussed. This tool is helpful and well received.
While I take my client's issues/concerns seriously, the tools that have remarkable healing potential are "humor" and "kindness", and I strive to incorporate both to enhance the lives of all clients. I certainly look forward to making contact with YOU. Your call is important. Call me.
