I believe that most people improve when they address life's problems as a process, not necessarily as an end. Together we will learn about life, its challenges, making sense of the past and looking forward to making the most of the future using psychology as a base and faith as a guide.
I have many years accompanying my patients through difficulties and trouble. This includes working as a uniformed Army Officer with servicemen and women, in combat zones and garrison, dealing with the trauma of war and as a psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Psychological difficulties and trauma are part of life's experiences. Getting through them often requires help. I am now retired from the US Army and Department of Veterans Affairs and want to continue to offer my time and experience as a psychologist to individuals who are ready to start the journey towards healing.
