I truly believe each client is the expert in their own life. I like to offer support, insight, different perspectives, and guidance, while also challenging my clients to grow and heal in a way that feels authentic. My goal is to meet clients where they are while staying focused on their individual goals. I work with clients navigating a variety of life transitions, such as toxic relationships, building self-esteem, career or academic changes, or simply feeling stuck and not sure what to do next. I also supports individuals managing depression, anxiety, performance anxiety, personality disorders, and other mental health challenges.
I specialize in 3 areas: working with elite and professional athletes, as a former Division I athlete, I understand the pressures of balancing sport and personal life; supporting survivors of domestic violence by providing a safe, supportive space for healing; and helping clients struggling with substance use develop healthier coping strategies.
I would say my therapeutic approach is flexible and tailored to each client’s needs. I'm happy to incorporate Christian-based counseling upon request. Ultimately, my hope is that therapy feels like a safe and supportive space allowing my clients to navigate life’s challenges, and work towards a sense of peace, purpose and emotional freedom.
