I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Work from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (AGGIE Pride!). I began my Social Work career working in different capacities of local government, assisting with resources and advocating for those in need. After a few years of working within the community, I began to embark on my Master’s degree and I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master's in Social Work and a concentration in families and children. I have worked in many capacities from the school systems, hospice, and medical social work.
I offer an eclectic approach that includes strength-based interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and supportive therapy to help adults, and teens process through life challenges, stress, depression, anxiety, grief, or other issues.
I understand that life can be difficult at times and we need someone that can offer space for us to process, heal, and improve our life for the better. I am here to help you through these difficult times and to help you become empowered to become your best self.
