Call Sheila Jalali
At some point we all reach a place where we think: I really need to talk to someone. We just feel we've lost control of our lives and things are not going the way we want. That can feel terrible. I work with clients to help them make the necessary changes to feel better and function better in their lives and to live a life that is more fulfilling and rewarding. I provide a free initial appointment for clients to meet me and ask questions. I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
A big part of the work I do with clients is helping them reveal the mistaken beliefs and distorted thoughts that fuel dissatisfaction in life. Once they begin to recognize how their thoughts create feelings that lead to unwanted behaviors and disappointing outcomes they start to change and feel better.
There is not a "one size fits all" approach to counseling. My training in Existential Phenomenological Psychology taught me to see each individual's situation and challenges as unique and to work with each person from that perspective rather than focusing on a specific technique or approach.
