Let’s sail to wholeness! My name is Ja’Keil Gilchrist, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). In my experience as a mental health professional, I have seen a lot but a common theme in individuals served has been feelings of brokenness: and the need to heal in a safe setting. I have discovered that often times an individual’s brokenness stems from disunity within the mind, body, and spirit which ultimately impacts the entire being. This brokenness and need for healing can be a result of low self-esteem, experienced trauma, mental illness, women/men problems, financial, interpersonal, relational, and/or occupational concerns.
You can expect to have a safe space to pour your feelings out. You should feel as if therapy is a space for you to feel comfortable to discuss the uncomfortable feelings that you have buried. Prepare to bring your shovel because we will dig up that which died on the inside of you, such as dreams, such as purpose, such as FAITH! I will challenge you to grow!
