Hope of healing is at the heart of my work. There is a misconception among many couples that periods of feeling numb or disconnected is normal. Anxieties and stressors can turn into deep emotional wounds or spiral into feelings of helplessness, leading to self-isolation, suffering, and uncertainty. I am passionate about facilitating a space where couples can restore and cultivate both love of Self and each other.
As a Level Two trained IFS therapist, I have focused on the specialized model for couples, IFIO (Intimacy From The Inside Out.) This framework provides practices to identify recurring conflict patterns, interpersonal trauma, and intimacy concerns through accessing and embracing your inner parts. I also utilize the Gottman Method, EMDR, and DBT.
The therapy I offer you is informed by your unique lives: past experiences, external issues, traumas known or unknown, disconnection from loved ones, suicidal ideation, etc. Your care is guided by discussions that allow partners to recognize and set aside defensive walls, permitting both individuals to more fully enjoy a shared life.
