Accepting new clients! I specialize in working with queer and trans people, couples, and other forms of relationships (triads, polycules, open relationships, poly, friends, and coworkers). I deal primarily with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, grief and loss, transitions, stress management, trauma, sex-related troubles, kink and BDSM, behavioral and substance addictions, and chronic pain and chronic illness. I love working with clients that bring their whole self to therapy as I do too. Feedback goes both ways, so let me know if something isn't working to ensure therapy works best for you!
I use a person-centered, relationship-focused approach, believing that as I build a relationship with the person or people seeking therapy, the therapeutic process becomes more beneficial. I focus on making the client feel comfortable, heard, and safe, so you can make progress. We'll also look at how to better utilize your strengths and resources.
I identify as a queer, White, disabled, Jewish man. I recognize how my identities show up in the therapy space and I'm happy to discuss how our identities interact. I have a chronic pain disability, so sometimes in person sessions have to be moved online day-of session. I'm looking forward to getting the opportunity to connect with and support you.
