I specialize in using a combination of EMDR with mindfulness, Ego State Therapy, CBT/DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Expressive Art Therapy to assist clients in the healing process. I have experience working with dual-diagnosis population in both individual and group settings.
I attended Mississippi State University and completed my graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Supervisor in MS (LPC-S) and TN (LPC-MHSP), Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH), a Certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA approved Consultant. I offer individual and group supervision for LPC.
In my experience as a counselor, I have worked substance use disorders, mood disorders, process addictions, trauma-related issues, grief and loss, and suicidal ideation. My specialties are in treating addictions & trauma work, with focused interest on attachment issues and survivors of suicide. I am passionate about working with other helping professionals.
