One of my favorite bible verses is Isaiah 43:2 which states, “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.” That Scripture gives me comfort. In times of fear, anxiety, or depression, we can sometimes forget that there is a God who loves us through it all and I want to be able to help you find that peace. I received my master’s degree from Bradley University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with teens, young adults, adults, families, and couples looking for guidance in areas such as anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, goal setting and life transitions.
I enjoy working with teens who struggle with the pressures of performing and competition and wholeheartedly believe in the restoration of marriage and family. My modalities include person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy and good old-fashioned compassion (with some tough love thrown in).
