Mindfulness based cognitive therapy group

Mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) is a research supported approach found to help adults with a history of depression, anxiety & trouble coping with stress. Research has found MBCT to be as effective as anti-depressants. This 8-week online group teaches participants practices & skills that may aid in preventing future mental health episodes. Participants must commit to home practices & attending every group. This group is best suited for individuals between episodes or experiencing mild/moderate symptoms & without significant, active trauma symptoms or personality disorders. BCBS & EHP insurances accepted, or $35 a group. Intake + brief assessments required.

Women's Therapy Group

This group is aimed at helping self-identified women who are employed by human rights organizations, or nonprofit companies that serve marginalized populations. This group will be a space to relate with other self-identified women around stressors and experiences; connect with others around resistance efforts; & obtain support and strategies for staying engaged in your important work. This is a group for those who are concerned about the negative effects of recent political changes in the US & involved in efforts to help those who are being impacted. It is not a group where there will be debate.
