Making changes can be scary and starting therapy is no different. It can be stressful even thinking about talking to a stranger; however, therapy can also be exciting! I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic space and believe therapy can be a great place to begin identifying or working on your life goals.
I believe that we are built to be in relationships with others in many capacities and we develop strategies to assist us in coping with adversity. I believe the therapeutic relationship creates a space to safely explore understanding meaning, increase our understanding in ourselves, and live a life that aligns with our values.
I offer an integrative approach, often using approaches from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy and existential therapy. I offer trauma-informed services that include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
